INHERITED a collection that brings my history to life through fabric. A tribute to my Samo heritage, it honors the artistry, resilience, and traditions passed down for generations.

Each indigo piece carries the story of “Pagne Samo,” worn by women whose hands built independence, chosen for its beauty and function. Indigo pays homage to their strength, while earthy browns, blood reds, and ecru reflect moments of joy and celebration.

Inherited is where African maximalism playfully and unapologetically flirts with  Western minimalism. Jewelry-inspired accents transform garments into artifacts, bridging past and present.

It is a reflection of my story,  a third-culture kid raised across continents, navigating identities that did not always fit. It is also my sisters’ story, a shared experience of fearing difference, of trying to blend in. But through that journey, we carved out space for ourselves, finding power in what we once tried to soften.

This collection is a love letter.
To the version of ourselves who once feared standing out.
To my parents, who wholeheartedly brought us home year after year, ensuring our roots were stronger than distance.
To my sisters, my first mirrors in this world.
To the women who came before us.
To those who carried culture forward.
To my faith, and to the path I have been blessed to walk.
